We built a structured Google Ads account separating individual consumer traffic from B2B team ordering intent, using different landing pages and bid strategies for each. On SEO, we focused on sport-specific and team-specific buying guide content that larger retailers weren’t publishing giving Gear Team Apparel authority in niche searches where conversion intent was higher.

Set up Google Shopping campaigns with product-level bidding optimised by margin tier. Launched Search campaigns targeting team manager and coach buying terms (‘buy team jerseys bulk’, ‘custom basketball uniforms order’). Built sport-specific landing pages for basketball, soccer, baseball, and volleyball team apparel. SEO content included sport-by-sport team uniform buying guides. Revenue growth and ROAS improvement delivered strong year-over-year performance.

4. What We Learned

For team apparel, separating B2B bulk buyers from individual consumers in Google Ads requires discipline different keywords, different landing pages, and different bid strategies. Team managers converting at 3x higher AOV than individual buyers.
